Overview

Andrew has a broad range of litigation experience in both state and federal court in commercial litigation, professional liability defense, tort law, and insurance defense matters. His present practice encompasses a broad range of civil litigation that follows a case from inception to conclusion, including employment discrimination claims, condominium association law, civil rights claims defense, and general liability claims. Prior to joining Borkan & Scahill, Ltd., Andrew worked at an insurance and professional liability defense firm and was a judicial clerk in the Circuit Court of Cook County for the Honorable Judge Margaret Ann Brennan on the Commercial Calendar.

While in law school, Andrew was an executive board member of the Moot Court Honors Program and an articles editor for the John Marshall Review of Intellectual Property Law. Andrew’s student comment, Do As We Say, Not As We Do, was published in the Spring 2009 issue of the Review of Intellectual Property Law. Andrew was awarded the CALI Award for Highest Academic Performance in Antitrust Law and International Intellectual Property. Andrew also competed in numerous moot court competitions. In 2009, his team won the Cardozo/BMI Entertainment and Communications Law Moot Court Competition.
